THANKSGIVING FOR A DIVINE EVENT

 हफ़्तों से ऐसी आस में आकाश को हम ताकते
बूँदें हवा के साथ उतरेंगी हमारे बाग़ में
कुछ दुआ थी कुछ रहम था
कुछ मौसमों का अहम् था
आखिर में जो उतरी तो क्या उतरी मियां छप्पन कला
ऐसी हुई वैसी हुई

इस बार क्या बारिश हुई  .

एक शाम जो खामोश थी / आसमान जो धीरे-धीरे गहरा नीला होता जा रहा था/
उसी में से धुले हुवे कपडे की तरह यह चाँद उभर गया /
मैं फिर से प्रकृति के जन्म को देख रहा हूँ /  कुछ ऐसे ही भ्रम थे उस लम्हे जब पाया /
कि वह पाखी भी मेरी उड़ानों में हमसंगी है .

A wedding in the family - 2009

Sapna got married to Gunjan in 2009. The small and very traditional wedding featured the essentials - a marwa (where rituals are conducted), the purohit (on the right), and the bridesmaid ( on the left).Till the last reports came in, the groom (not in the pic.) and the bride are very happily married !

SPRING OF 2011

 The flowers were blooming and Spring had truly arrived. The Butterflies, alas, were nowhere to be seen !

                                                                        The Spring is making way for summer. The tiny winged creatures of paradise dropped in and perched themselves all around to remind us that we could expect them every spring.
